Pamela Peña, APRN, AGACNP

Pamela Peña is a board-certified  Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a dedicated focus in hepatology and metabolic health.

Her clinical foundation began in the intensive care unit, where she spent years managing critically ill patients. This experience shaped her ability to recognize subtle clinical changes, manage complex conditions, and approach patient care with precision and urgency when needed.

Since 2017 after graduating from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. with a Masters in Science, her work has been centered in liver disease, where she has developed extensive experience in the evaluation and management of both acute and chronic hepatic conditions. Her background includes caring for patients across the full spectrum of liver disease- from asymptomatic patients with early abnormalities in liver enzymes to advanced cirrhosis and its complications.

This combination of ICU-level training and focused hepatology experience allows her to approach liver disease with a depth that is both comprehensive and highly clinical.

Pamela founded Advanced Liver and Metabolic Health Institute with a clear vision: to create a space where liver care is not fragmented, rushed, or generalized- but instead, specialized, thoughtful, and thorough.
